It’s a pattern of small flowers in square borders used simple and varied stitches , such as running stitch, stem stitch, satin stitch, spiderweb flower, French knot stitch…

During the monthly gathering of the stitchers in Kuwait, the stitchers who joined us had applied the pattern to different projects. As a result, every stitcher came up with a unique creations with her own touches..

Some of the stitchers applied the design on a shirt from the front side, and others did the stitches on the back of the shirt. Some of them cut the pattern and distributed the flowers freely on a blouse, or on a shawl..

You can print the pattern and draw it by hand, or print it on hand-embroidery water-soluble stabilizer. As shown in the picture, I printed the pattern on hand-embroidery water-soluble stabilizer, and fixed it to the front of a dress. After finishing the embroidery, I soaked the piece in water until the stabilizer dissolved completely. Then I hang it to dry in open air, and it’s done!
